Chronicles of false tracks the prevalent falsehood that imitates authentic and thus difficult to acertain the difference Reflections through Exodus 7 & 8 To counterfeit means to imitate something. Counterfeit products are fake replicas of the real product. Counterfeit products are often produced with the intent to take advantage of the superior value of the imitated product. In the days of Counterfeit products and a lifestyle of imitation, In the days of copy pasting. It is difficult to tell the original from the fake but by the very presence of the fake is a clue enough that authentic and original does exist. It is a rude shock to come to know that we can manipulate nature and spiritual powers and law to work miracle, signs and wonders. Thus we should never use this things as indicators of growth, fellowship with God and ultimately authenticity of someone. Because it is very possible to bloom and witness good success while walking down the wrong part. It is so amazing to find in Exodus 7, Verse 10-14 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said. Exodus 7:22 But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts, and Pharaoh’s heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said. Am profoundly struck at hear this statement "But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts", so it is true that The miracles can be faked! Not all miracles are necessarily from God is sobering. In the days of miracles seeking hearts and sign chasing congregants this is a caution. That is why I tend to agree with the scriptures when it draws clear line that The outer presentation of who we are profits nothing if not accompanied by inner mortification of self and continuous war to slay off our appetites for sin. In the Book of Acts 8:9-24, Simon the sorcerer is a respected man who had earned adoration from the least to the greatest of his time, He had won admirations and people called "The great power of God". Such is the present misinterpretation whenever we see someone working out diverse miracles. When Simon the sorcerer saw an authentic miracles aided by God's spirit he wanted to purchase. He then collides head-on with the gospel truths from Peter and John. In all this Peter points something pertinent Acts8:21, "You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God." So that the condition of our heart becomes important in our claim of working and serving God. This state is what any one calling his ministry as from God must first agree at (Its basis and the authority). So that even the Egyptian magicians and sorcerers missed out on this Important issue.     WHAT COUNTERFEIT DOES TO OUR FAITH It Corrupts the faith of many, thus misleading us into pluralism and idea that many roads leads to Rome. It opens gateway to options instead to the scriptural one way, One Truth and One Life (Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ) It hardens the heart of man against God, because human can manipulate and invoke spiritual forces to act on their behalf. Pharaoh could not listen to Moses and give heed to God Provides a lesser and convenient way of getting something done without necessarily having to pay the great price. Counterfeits are loose and the higher demands of the original are breached, It lowers the stand and ultimately designs a thing that is seeker friendly and accommodating and compromising.
